In Oct 2021 I joined Oracle’s Ethical Hacking Team (EHT) and in doing so I found out what I’m going to be involved in and what’s expected of me 🙂 – don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, I’m simply stating some facts – and to tell you the truth the stuff I’m being involved with is f**king awesome. “Problem” with that is that in order to succeed and do things the way I like to (which is to exceed expectations) I need to be a better version of myself (I need an upgrade) .
This is it, the first step of that journey … become an OCI Certified Architect Professional.
I started working on this particular goal in Oct 2021 (watching videos on the company website, googling how to do various things in OCI, messing with the OCI console, etc) and before the end of 2021 I passed the Foundations exam and shortly after the Architect Associate exam.
Seeing how “easy” it was for me to take the first two I’m thinking I should continue with the same approach for the third and final one … and my first attempt at taking the exam … failed 🙂 (passing score 70%, I failed with 58% or something like that … ) . I went crazy for a few minutes but then calmed down as I came to the conclusion that this exam was a bit difficult and I needed to change my tactic and practice harder and practice with more mock exams and etc … and then next attempt … fail again 🙂 (passing score 70%, I failed with 68.9% or something like that) … I went mental (who wouldn’t after so much learning) … this time for about 1 day or so … and then again I calmed down as I understood that actually my answers were not wrong but rather either incomplete (multiple choice) or not the best option out of the list presented to me so I started digging trying to understand the subtle differences and kept practicing and after more mock exams … I passed (passing score 70%, I passed with 77.something % or 78% ish) … you can’t imagine how well I slept that night 🙂
The next morning I woke up with the urge to take the next step … I wonder what that will be ? … when I figure it out I’ll post it here … until then feel free to browse through my other posts, maybe you’ll find something useful or at least entertaining 🙂
